These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cardex application and services. By creating an account or using Cardex, you agree to these Terms.
Cardex is a Pokémon TCG collection tracking and price intelligence tool. It helps collectors monitor card values, set price alerts, and generate eBay listings. Cardex is not a marketplace — we do not facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers.
You must be 13 or older (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission.
Cardex offers both free and subscription-based features. We reserve the right to change what features are included in each tier with 30 days' notice. Paid subscriptions are billed as described at checkout. Refunds are not provided for partial periods except where required by law.
By connecting your TCGPlayer account, you authorize Cardex to access your collection data on your behalf. You represent that you have the right to grant this access. Cardex is not affiliated with TCGPlayer and your use of TCGPlayer remains subject to TCGPlayer's own terms.
Cardex generates draft listing titles and descriptions as a convenience tool. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing listings before posting. You must comply with eBay's policies, applicable consumer protection laws, and any grading or condition representations you make. Cardex assumes no liability for listings posted on eBay.
Price data is sourced from public market data and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Cardex does not provide financial advice. All buying and selling decisions are solely yours. We are not liable for losses arising from reliance on price data shown in the app.
Pokémon and all related names are trademarks of The Pokémon Company International. Cardex is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, or Game Freak. Card images are provided by the Pokémon TCG API under their terms of use.
The Cardex app, design, and code are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app without our written permission.
You retain ownership of your collection data. You grant us a limited license to store and process it to operate the Service. We will not use your collection data for advertising or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY, DATA ACCURACY, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARDEX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING YOUR CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, you may export your data for 30 days before it is deleted.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except either party may seek injunctive relief in court.
We may update these Terms with 14 days' notice via the app or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
